In those moments when time is ticking yet your stomach yearns for something both delightful and effortless, my go-to omelette recipe is a lifesaver. Comprising merely four staple ingredients, it’s a revolution for anyone desiring a scrumptious, homemade feast minus the lengthy kitchen stint. This omelette emerges juicy, bursting with flavor, and is poised to earn its stripes as a go-to in your culinary repertoire. Below is the blueprint for this marvel, and I’m eager to see your feedback. Wishing you peace, love, and a palate of joy, dear friends! 🤗❤️️🥰

Ingredients:

6 eggs
300ml (approximately 1 1/4 cups) whole milk
100g (about 4 ounces) Gruyere cheese (feel free to use your preferred cheese)
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Salt and pepper, to taste
Green onions, for garnish (optional)
1/2 tsp butter or olive oil, for the pan
Instructions:
Start by preheating your oven to 200°C / 392°F to ensure it’s primed for baking the omelette.

Lightly grease your pan with butter or olive oil to fend off sticking and to infuse the omelette with added flavor.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until they’re seamlessly blended. This concoction will serve as the fluffy foundation of your omelette.

Grate the Gruyere cheese and gently fold it into the egg mixture for a rich, nutty taste. However, any cheese you favor can step in as a substitute.
