baked dinner rolls

“Freshly baked dinner rolls straight from my kitchen! Soft, fluffy, and oh-so-delicious.

Ingredients:

• 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

• 2 tablespoons sugar

• 1 tablespoon active dry yeast

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1 cup warm milk plus 2 tbsp

• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

• 2 large egg

Instructions:
• In a bowl, combine warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

• In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and beaten egg. Mix until the dough comes together.

• Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

• Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
