Turn raw bacon strips into an addictive like ‘crack’ treat with just 4 ingredients

TOP RANGE
Put this recipe on paper.
The recipe below calls for four basic ingredients—puff pastry, bacon, maple syrup, and brown sugar—to create a flatbread that is both sweet and savory, and you won’t be able to resist it.
To ensure consistent baking, puncture the buttery puff pastry well before filling it with crisp bacon and sweet maple. This flatbread is ideal for a Game Day snack or hors d’oeuvre, and it tastes great both warm and cold.
To add some savouriness to this mixture, crumbled blue cheese or goat cheese is a terrific alternative!

Crack Maple Bacon
Things for the Cooktop Stove
Bacon, one pound
1-pc puff pastry
one-fourth cup dark syrup
mixed brown sugar, half a cup
How to Follow
Turn the oven on high heat (375 degrees). Arrange the bacon on a rack and set it atop a baking sheet coated with aluminum foil. Grill the bacon for 20 minutes or until it becomes crispy.
Set the bacon aside to cool after taking it out of the oven.
3. Make sure the puff pastry doesn’t rise too much while baking by rolling it out and scoring it all over with a fork. Pour half of the maple syrup over the top and sprinkle with half of the brown sugar.
4. Crumble the bacon into small pieces and top with the crumbled bacon. Pour over the rest of the maple syrup and top with the rest of the brown sugar.
