Amish Cinnamon Bread

My Amish neighbor generously shared this delightful creation, and in no time, every trace of crumbs vanished. Amish Cinnamon Bread, originating from Amish communities, holds a special place as a sweet and cherished treat passed down through generations. Its inviting scent of cinnamon and the tender texture make it an ideal choice for breakfast, brunch, or a delightful afternoon snack.

While this Amish Cinnamon Bread stands superb on its own, it also pairs exceptionally well with various accompaniments. One delectable option is to serve it with a generous dollop of creamy butter, enhancing each bite with an added richness. Another delightful way to savor this bread is alongside a steaming cup of coffee or tea, where the warm cinnamon flavors beautifully complement the comforting warmth of the beverage.

Ingredients:

4 cups flour

2 eggs

1 cup softened butter

2 cups sugar

2 tsp baking soda

For the cinnamon sugar mixture:

2 tsp cinnamon
