Blissful Banana Pudding Delights

Whipped cream for topping

Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture starts to thicken and bubble.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually whisk in about 1/2 cup of the hot milk mixture to temper the yolks.

Slowly pour the tempered yolks back into the saucepan, whisking constantly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, until the pudding is thick and creamy.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and butter until well combined.

In serving cups, layer crushed vanilla wafers, followed by slices of banana, and then pour the warm pudding over the top.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.

Top with whipped cream before serving.
