Cherry Cola Ham

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a large roasting pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Score the surface of the ham with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep. This will help the glaze penetrate the meat.

In a saucepan, combine the cherry cola, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove it from the heat.

Place the ham in the prepared roasting pan, flat side down. Pour about half of the cherry cola mixture over the ham, making sure to coat it evenly.

Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 1 hour, basting occasionally with the remaining cherry cola mixture from the pan.

Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the ham to caramelize and develop a nice crust.

Once the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C), remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.
