Christmas Cherry Bars

I love whipping a tray of these Christmas bars up! Everyone was thrilled by the outcome!.

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp almond extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
