Gradually add the flavored powdered drink mix while continuing to blend until smooth.
Transfer the mixture into a container and freeze for at least three hours.
After freezing, remove the ice cream from the container and transfer it to a mixer.
Process the ice cream in the mixer on high speed for about 10 minutes, or until it reaches a velvety consistency.
Return the ice cream to the container and freeze again for about 5 hours.
Garnish with fruit or toppings just before serving if desired.
