Homemade knots: extra soft and fluffy

  1. When the time is up, remove the dough from the bowl and transfer it to the work surface. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and form into balls.
  2. Roll out each ball and brush with butter. Spread the cheese mixture on one side and spread it out. Flatten it a bit and form the shape of the knot.
  3. Transfer the knots to the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, cover them with a kitchen towel and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  4. After 20 minutes brush the knots with egg yolk + milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Transfer to the oven and bake at 180°C/360°F for 35 minutes, or until golden brown.
