Homemade Vanilla Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
150g sugar
250g wheat flour
150g butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 small tablespoon baking powder
Preparation:
Mix the sugar and butter in a bowl using a wooden paddle or an electric mixer. Combine them until the mixture is well blended and creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture. Continue beating until the ingredients are thoroughly combined, resulting in a smooth and lump-free liquid mixture.
Slowly add the baking powder and wheat flour to the mixture. Stir constantly as you add the dry ingredients to ensure a fine and homogeneous paste is formed.
Place the vanilla cookie dough in the fridge for about 2 hours to allow it to firm up.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) about 10 minutes before the dough’s cooling time is complete.
Remove the dough from the fridge and use a rolling pin to roll it out to the desired thickness, approximately 0.5 cm or less.
