Moist Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients:

– For the Cake:

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin puree

– 1/2 cup whole milk

– For the Browned Butter Frosting:

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 2 cups powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 2-3 tablespoons milk (as needed)

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
