Monterey sausage pie

Ingredients:

For the

 filling:

  • 1 lb (450g)
  •  pork sausages, casings removed (you can use any flavor you like)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper (any color), diced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (or a mix of Monterey Jack and Cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
