Peaches and Cream Cheesecake Bars

For the Glaze:

• 1 cup of powdered sugar

• 2 tablespoons of milk

• 1 teaspoon of almond extract

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.

2. For the batter: Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth. Then, add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. Slowly incorporate the flour and salt until combined. Spread half of this batter evenly in the greased pan.

3. For the cheesecake layer: In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until the mixture is smooth. Spread this cheesecake mixture over the batter in the pan.

4. Layering: Spoon the peach pie filling over the cheesecake layer. Then, add dollops of the remaining batter on top.

5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is nicely browned. Allow the bars to cool completely.

6. For the glaze: Mix together the powdered sugar, milk, and almond extract until smooth. Drizzle this glaze over the cooled bars.

7. Finally, cut into bars and indulge in the deliciousness!
