How to make swiss roll cake / Basic roll cake Recipe / Easy roll cake

Ingredients:

– 5 egg yolks

– 1g salt

– 50g sugar

– 90g cake flour

– 2g baking powder

– 50g vegetable oil

– 50g milk

– Meringue (5 egg whites + 70g sugar)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks with salt until pale.

3. Gradually add sugar and continue whisking until thick and creamy.

4. Sift cake flour and baking powder into the egg yolk mixture, fold gently until combined.

5. In a small saucepan, heat vegetable oil and milk until warm, then add to the batter and mix well.

6. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.

7. Gently fold the meringue into the batter until fully incorporated.
