Delicious Lumpia from the Philippines

Ingredients
To make authentic lumpia from the Philippines, you’ll need:

1 pound ground pork
½ cup finely diced onion
½ cup diced carrot
½ cup chopped green onion
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
30 Spring roll wrappers or egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying the lumpia
Instructions
Preparing the Filling

Cook the Pork: In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground pork, diced onion, and diced carrot. Cook until the pork is browned and cooked through.
Add Flavor: Lower the heat and stir in the minced garlic, soy sauce, garlic powder, chopped green onion, and shredded cabbage. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Allow the mixture to sauté for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Cool the Filling: Once the filling is cooked, set it aside to cool slightly. This will make it easier to handle when assembling the lumpia.
Rolling the Lumpia
Prepare the Wrappers: Lay the spring roll wrappers out on a clean surface, such as a cutting board or countertop.
Fill and Roll: Place a small spoonful of the filling along one edge of each wrapper, forming a line lengthwise. Fold the edges of the wrapper in towards the center, then carefully roll the wrapper to enclose the filling, creating a tight cylinder.
