Homemade Lemon Curd
Ingredients:
– Lemons, for juice and zest
– Sugar
– Unsalted butter, room temperature
– Eggs
– Egg yolks
– Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. -Prepare Lemons:- Zest and juice the lemons.
2. -Mix:- In a saucepan, combine lemon juice, zest, sugar, and butter. Heat gently until butter melts and sugar dissolves.
3. -Beat Eggs:- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, and salt.
4. -Combine:- Slowly mix the warm lemon mixture into the eggs, constantly whisking.
