Butter Swim Biscuits Recipe

With this simple recipe, you can make Butter Swim Biscuits that are rich and buttery. Not only do these biscuits taste great, but they are also very easy to make, which makes them perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Warm the oven up to 450°F (230°C). Use cooking spray or butter to grease a baking dish.
Get a big bowl and stir the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together until they are well mixed.
Add the melted butter and buttermilk. Mix it together until you get a soft, sticky dough.
Put the dough on a floured surface and knead it a few times until it starts to stick together. Be careful not to mix the biscuits too much, as this can make them tough.
Stretch the dough out until it’s about an inch thick. Cut biscuits out of the dough using a round cookie maker or a drinking glass. Then, put the biscuits in the baking dish that has been prepared so that they meet.
Put the cookies in an oven that has already been cooked for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Brush the tops of the biscuits with more melted butter for an extra rich look once they are out of the oven.
