A Peanut Butter Chocolate Delight

Ingredients:

1/2 cup softened butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon canola or vegetable oil
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat & Prep: Set your oven to a cozy 375°. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or give it a quick spray with cooking spray.

Creamy Blend: In a stand mixer or using a handheld blender, whip together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until they’re creamy and lighter in color. Crack in the egg and blend again.

Whisk & Combine: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add this to the wet mix, blending just enough to combine.

Shape & Bake: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and arrange them on your cookie sheet. They don’t spread much, so you can fit about 15 per sheet. Bake them for 8 minutes.

Press for Perfection: Once out of the oven, gently press each cookie with a small cup. This not only flattens them but also creates those gorgeous crinkly edges.
