Apple Pie Filling Coffee Cake

Have you ever tried something so easy you could barely stand it…and something you were more shocked by than I did. This is one those recipes.

What’s nicer than pastries that you no longer have to bother with for a long time? One, two, three cakes – it’s about apple coffee cake. All you have to do is mix all ingredients in a bowl, pour it to baking dish & covering it with apples. With the preparation of the glaze, it will take no more than 10 minutes.

What do I need to make apple cake and coffee? You will need a simple ingredients to making this cake. It’s white cake mix, apple pie filling, eggs, sour cream, water, & cinnamon.

If you don’t have first two ingredients on hand, you can cooking them yourself if you have the time. Just google a bit) You can also substitute the white cake mix for the yellow. In addition to all this, you will need powdered sugar and milk for icing.

All you have to do is mixing all ingredients in a bowl, pour it to a baking dish and cover it with apples. To prepare this recipe, you will need the following ingredients:



  • 1 package white cake mix (2 layers)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 package (21 ounces) apple pie filling


  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 1-1 1/2 tsp. Milk


Mix the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl of a stand mixer until smooth. Pour mix into a greased 9″ * 13″ baking dish.
Spoon the apple pie filling over the dough, covering the entire surface. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.
Make a frosting with milk and powdered sugar and sprinkle it on the cooled cake.
