Banana Bread Recipe


– 2 to 3 ripe bananas, mashed

– 1 teaspoon lemon juice

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

– 1 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a small bowl, mix mashed bananas with lemon juice and set aside.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

4. In a large mixing bowl, beat melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.

5. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
