Decadent Banana Bread

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.

Add the beaten eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Stir until smooth.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

If using, fold in the chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
