Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz or 300g) condensed cream of mushroom soup (you can also use cream of chicken)
1 cup (240ml) sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)
1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
1 package (32 oz or about 900g) frozen tater tots
1 cup (160g) frozen mixed vegetables (like peas, carrots, and corn), thawed
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp paprika (optional for added flavor)
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, until it’s no longer pink. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant. Drain any excess fat.
