Recipe for Cheesy Jalapeño Shortbread:

A half cup of all-purpose flour is an ingredient.

half a teaspoon of salt

one egg, somewhat beaten

Eight tablespoons of diced, chilled butter

Two cups of shredded cheese, mozzarella or pepper jack

freshly minced jalapeño jalapenos, two or three

Instructions:

Combine the salt and flour in a big basin.

Combine the dry ingredients and cut in the chilled butter until crumbly.

Beat in the egg, then add the shredded cheese and minced jalapeños. Stir to combine.
