Crown of Kings

In a container put the flour, salt, sugar, yeast (without allowing the yeast to touch the sugar or salt), lukewarm milk and eggs.

Knead until the mixture is homogeneous.

Add the soft butter in pieces and knead for a long time, the more you knead the better to have a nice crumb.

Allow to double in volume, the time is random

When the dough has doubled in volume, form a ball, make a hole in the center of about ten centimeters to obtain the shape of a crown

Leave to almost double in volume again.

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Beat an egg and use a brush to brush the entire crown, then sprinkle with diced candied fruit and granulated sugar

Bake for about 35 minutes
